The Golden essence of french art de vivre
To inaugurate the collection, Maison Martell naturally chose the château which represents the finest expression of its art de vivre: the Château de Chanteloup. The heart and soul of Maison Martell, Chanteloup was the historic home of the Martell family. Situated in the heart of the Borderies terroir, the signature of Martell cognacs since 1715, the Château de Chanteloup also represents the extraordinary continuity of the style, savoir-faire and success of Maison Martell.
A masterpiece of blending
Demonstrating the virtuosity of the Martell Cellar Master, L’Or de Jean Martell – Réserve du Château Chanteloup blends more than 1,400 eaux-de-vie from the four finest terroirs in the Cognac region. After blending, it is further aged in barrels of 300 year-old oak, sourced from France’s most ancient forests. The ageing process takes place first in a historic, dedicated cellar in Cognac, and was completed at Chanteloup
